Legendary Savile Row tailor, Edward Sexton has launched a brand new button-down shirt. It is their answer to a relaxed semi-formal look.

The shirt is created using superfine Italian denim in a mid-blue wash. It comes with the same pointed cut you would expect from a Sexton tab collar shirt. But, it is fitted with hidden tabs that fasten to the shirt beneath the collar points.

This design elevates the denim shirt like we haven't seen before, and it is worth noting it will also take on its unique style over time. The more it is worn, the shirt will soften and fade slightly.

The king of streetwear and the king of flat-pack furniture have surprisingly collaborated on a new range of products. Named 'MARKERAD' (Swedish for "marked) it features tables, toolkits, bags and rugs conceived by the creative director of Louis Vuitton men's collection, Virgil Abloh. The aim for Ikea was to "blend contemporary art culture and street-art culture".

A key piece highlighted by Abloh is a rug designed to replicate one of the furniture makers till receipts. It is a representation of the designer's sense of humour that he showcases through a lot of his work. Note, a clock with the words "TEMPORARY" on it.

"The receipt is a trademark in itself that has been transformed into art. I think that this rug can just as easily be on a floor or hung on a wall"

Across some of the pieces are Abloh's signature poppy design associated with his brand Off-White. It was also included in their first furniture line that launched this summer.

Many of the pieces can be assembled without tools. This is something that Ikea has tried to innovate towards for numerous years. Hoping to remove the frustrations many people have with flat-pack furniture purchases.

The collection is available in the US stores from November 01st. But hurry as stock is limited.

Canadian entrepreneur, Miles Nadal purchased all but one of 100 sneakers put up at recent auction with Sotheby's. It was the first-ever auction dedicated to sneakers and included rare footwear from brands such as Nike, Adidas and Air Jordan.

Back to the Future fans would have been eager to see the Nike Mags made famous in the second feature film in 1989. The self-lacing trainers represented technology not created until three decades later. You may remember the furore caused when Michael J Fox was seen wearing them a few years back.

Another key sale was the Jeter edition Air Jordan 11. They were created in 2017, to commemorate Derek Jeter, the New York Yankees star retiring. There were only five pairs made and were estimated to have sold for close to $60,000.

The one remaining pair that Mr Nadal didn't purchase was the 1972 Nike Waffle Racing Flat Moon Shoe that is still for sale during the week-long auction. These are expected to fetch $160,000 by themselves.

I have always been an avid enthusiast and appreciator of unique art and collectables that represent innovative design, exceptional craftsmanship and new and exciting trends in pop culture

Miles Nadal

Previously, the highest price obtained at auction for sneakers was for a pair of signed Michael Jordin converse shoes, sold in 2017. They were purchased for over $190,000.

The shoes purchased at the recent Sotheby's auction are earmarked to be displayed at Mr Nadal's Dare to Dream Automobile Museum in Toronto.

Not wanting the party to stop, TAG Heuer has continued their 50th-anniversary celebrations by unveiling the fourth of five new Monaco watches.

Announced at the Gallery of Horyuji Treasures within the Tokyo National Museum in Japan on Tuesday, was the Tag Heuer Monaco 1999-2009 Limited Edition.

TAG Heuer is celebrating 50 years since they unveiled the inaugural square-faced Monaco to the world in 1969. In doing so, the company has been on somewhat of a globe-trekking adventure, introducing limited edition watches along the way. In May, the luxury watch brand unveiled a model inspired by the years 1969 to 1979 at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monaco. After that, at Le Mans in June, a watch celebrating the years 1979 to 1989. After this, there were the years 1990's revealed in New York in July.

The stunning fourth watch in the "Monaco Through Time" collection is very classic in its appearance. Striking red and orange details on the hour and minute markers are offset by the traditional black and white face.

A Calibre 11 is encased in a 39mm stainless steel and paired with a perforated black calfskin strap. The Calibre 11 is a modernised version of the 1969 original. Overall the design is still very much a nod to its ancestor. The pushers remain on the right of the watch face, while the crown is on the left. These features are the same as the original.

Famous wearers of the TAG Heuer Monaco include the men's style icon, Steve McQueen. The watch he wore in the 1971 film, Le Mans sold for $799,500 in 2012.

Like the other watches in this collection, the limited run has only 169 pieces and retails for £5,350. It is available now on the brand's website.

Intriguingly, a new menswear pop up sprung up recently. Located at 15 Bateman Street in London's Soho, this store had a look of paired back elegance about it. A simple window display alluded to form, function and style over trend-led high street fashion.

So, who was behind it. Private White VC? Goodhood Store? Nope.

It was Marks and Spencer.

The brand that has often been the foundation of high streets the length and breadth of the UK were opening a trendy pop-up store in Soho.

But why?

Well, anyone that has step foot in an M&S stores knows that the sheer volume of a product can often make it challenging to shop. We know there is an older demographic of shoppers that use the brand for comfortable slacks and footwear. Nevertheless, the brand has done an excellent job in expanding their range to suit a wider audience. Contracts with the likes of David Gandy and Oliver Chesire have brought a different clientele into the stores. I have to admit; I am one of them.

The issue is, when I get in-store, I'm searching for ages to try and find the piece I saw featured on GQ or Esquire. I can imagine others, less stubborn than I am, will give up and leave.

This new store called Mike & Tom's pop up gives the brand the chance to curate a selection of menswear pieces and present them in an aesthetically pleasing manner. The shop is focusing on changing the perception that some shoppers have of the brand as "old and stuffy".

Products available include cashmere jumpers, cotton t-shirts, jackets, shirts and a core denim range. It also contains products not available yet online or in the larger stores.

If you were thinking (and I'm sure you were), the name Mike and Tom's is a nod to M&S founders, Michael Marks and Thomas Spencer.

Open till 28th September 2019. Visit the store at 15 Bateman Street, London's.
